Job Summary
Coordinates and handles all PEZA, DENR, DOLE and other government and legal related requirements.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
1. Supports the implementation of procedures to maintain the management systems of the company.
2. Checks facilities and premises on regular basis to check compliance to legal requirements and safety issues.
3. Informs the Supervisor and Manager on progress or status of projects and perform work activities related to environment, health and safety concerns.
4. Prepares and furnishes the department with reports, analysis and other documentary requirements required by PEZA, DOLE and DENR.
5 Ensures that requirements on occupational health standards and the environment are complied and Implemented.
6. Formulates policies and procedures and programs related to the maintenance of the environment and safety of the employees.
7. Represents the company in audits pertaining to environmental and safety compliance.
8. Prepares, conducts and reviews hazard and risk assessment of the different company processes.
9. Handles the different safety drills of the company.
10. Conducts trainings and orientations related to safety and environmental matters.
11. Ensures compliance to ISO 9001 (Quality Management System, ISO 14001 (Environmental System), ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety) and RBA (Reliable Business Alliance).
12. Handles safety inspections, hazardous waste inspection and hauling.
13. Prepares reports for submission to government agencies on matters related to environment, health and safety.
