Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive VMware Data Specialist to support our VMware by Broadcom Competitive Renewals Program. This role will work closely with our Partner Account Executive and Sales team to ensure seamless execution of renewal strategies, accurate data management, and timely quoting through distribution channels.
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for enabling sales success through operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Data Validation & Management
- Maintain and validate customer and partner data related to VMware Orphaned Accounts and Competitive renewals.
- Ensure accuracy of renewal timelines, product SKUs, and licensing details.
- Regularly audit and update CRM and renewal tracking systems.
Account Mapping
Align customer accounts with appropriate partner and sales territories.Collaborate with Partner Account Executives to ensure correct account assignments.Support segmentation and prioritization of renewal opportunities.Quoting & Distribution Coordination
Work with authorized distributors to obtain and manage quotes for VMware renewals.Track quote status and ensure timely delivery to sales and partners.Assist in resolving discrepancies between quotes, contracts, and customer expectations.Program Administration
Support the execution of Competitive Renewals Program.Monitor program KPIs and assist in reporting performance metrics.Coordinate internal communications and documentation related to renewal processes.Sales & Partner Support
Serve as a liaison between sales, partners, and distribution for renewal-related inquiries.Provide administrative support for renewal campaigns and partner enablement initiatives.Help prepare renewal proposals and documentation for customer delivery.Requirements
2+ years of experience in sales operations, administrative support, or partner management.Familiarity with VMware by Broadcom products and licensing is a strong asset.Experience working with distributors and quoting tools.Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and Excel including advanced features such as pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data cleaning, and formatting.Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Must be able to work on a night shift schedule – 9 : 00 AM to 6 : 00 PM Eastern Time.Preferred Skills
Knowledge of competitive renewal strategies in the IT channel.Experience supporting partner-led sales motions.Ability to interpret and manage complex data sets.Benefits
