Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quality Control Supervisor to join our team in Taguig, Philippines. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing quality control processes, ensuring product consistency, and maintaining high standards throughout our manufacturing operations.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems and procedures
- Lead and mentor a team of quality control inspectors
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Analyze quality data and prepare comprehensive reports for management
- Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency
- Ensure adherence to all relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action processes
- Calibrate and maintain quality control equipment
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging quality control technologies
Qualifications
BS Chemistry or its allied degrees recognized by the Professional Regulations Commission
Board of Chemistry, MUST be a Registered Chemist
3 - 5 years work experience as quality control in a manufacturing company (preferably
construction chemicals, cement, coatings or paint industry)
At least 2 years experience of supervisory or team leadership roleOperation of general laboratory equipment, knowledgeable in GLP and ISO standards (IMS)Technical writing aptitude, Root cause analysis, 5S, equipment calibration and verificationProven leadership experience managing quality control teamsStrong knowledge of quality control methodologies such as Six Sigma and Lean ManufacturingProficiency in statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis techniquesExperience with quality management software and reporting toolsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesDetail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and precisionFamiliarity with relevant industry regulations and compliance standardsQuality control certifications (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Engineer) preferredAbility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environmentProficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel for data analysisAdditional Information
Responsible for conducting quality testing in all incoming raw materials, in-process materials, outgoing finished goods and packaging.
