Quality Assurance Head

The QA Head is responsible for ensuring that all purified ice tube products meet the company’s established quality and safety standards in compliance with Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS), GMP requirements. This role oversees the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of quality systems, ensuring safe, clean, and high-quality ice production aligned with both regulatory and customer expectations.

1. Quality Management & Control

Establish, implement, and maintain the company’s Quality Assurance and Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS) .

Monitor and verify compliance with GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000 , and other relevant food safety standards.

Conduct regular quality audits, inspections, and water / ice microbial testing to ensure consistent product safety.

Develop and implement quality control procedures for raw water, filtration systems, and finished ice products.

2. Documentation & Compliance

Maintain and update FSMS documents, SOPs, and quality records in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Ensure compliance with DOH, FDA, and local sanitation ordinances for purified ice production.

Prepare reports, validation records, and corrective action plans based on audit findings.

3. Team Leadership & Training

Supervise the QA and sanitation team to ensure effective monitoring of hygiene, product safety, and quality control activities.

Conduct internal trainings on food safety awareness, GMP, sanitation procedures, and personal hygiene .

Promote a culture of food safety and continuous improvement across all departments.

4. Continuous Improvement

Identify process gaps and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Lead investigations of non-conformances, customer complaints, and product rejections.

Support process optimization and product quality enhancement initiatives.

5. Coordination & Communication

Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, and Logistics teams to ensure all operations align with FSMS standards.

Liaise with external auditors, regulatory agencies, and third-party laboratories for compliance and certification.

Provide regular management reports on quality performance metrics and improvement status.
