A growing arts and craft supplies e-commerce company that recently completed an acquisition and is expanding their digital presence from the ground up. This small but ambitious team is focused on building meaningful customer relationships and scaling their social media strategy as sales increase. You’ll be joining at an exciting growth phase where your contributions will have direct, measurable impact.

Role Overview

Manage the company’s organic social growth end-to-end : plan, create, publish, and optimize content that builds brand awareness, engagement, and supports sales across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, and Pinterest.

Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning

  • Develop a monthly content calendar aligned with product launches, promotions, seasons, and trends.
  • Define and maintain content pillars such as tutorials, product demos, UGC, explainers, behind-the-scenes, and community spotlights.
  • Coordinate with Brand, Marketplace, and PPC teams to ensure organic content supports key products and campaigns.

Content Creation (Short-Form Video & Visuals)

  • Script, shoot, edit, and publish short-form videos (TikTok / Reels / Shorts), image posts, carousels, and Stories.
  • Design visuals using Canva or similar tools and assist with cover photos, banners, and occasional website creatives.
  • Stay updated on trending sounds, challenges, and formats; adapt them creatively to fit the brand.
  • Write engaging hooks, captions, and clear CTAs with a warm, on-brand tone.
  • Publishing, Scheduling & Hashtags

  • Schedule posts during optimal Eastern Time windows, targeting approximately one post per day per core channel.
  • Conduct ongoing hashtag research and refine captions for maximum reach and relevance.
  • Maintain link-in-bio and shoppable tags where applicable.
  • Community & UGC Collaboration

  • Collaborate with the Community Engagement & Affiliate Specialist on replies, DMs, and outreach.
  • Provide content prompts for community challenges, polls, and interactive questions.
  • Support user-generated content (UGC) initiatives by coordinating creator clips and basic collaborations.
  • Analytics & Growth

  • Track weekly metrics : views, watch time, engagement rate, saves / shares, follower growth, profile visits, and link clicks.
  • Monitor traffic performance and align timing with PPC promotions and campaigns.
  • Run A / B tests (hooks, thumbnails, formats, posting times) and scale high-performing content.
  • Engagement & Performance Goals

  • Maintain posting consistency : 5–7 posts per week per core channel, with 100% on-time calendar delivery.
  • Achieve month-over-month improvements in engagement rate (ER), saves / shares, and meaningful comments.
  • Drive steady follower growth across all platforms.
  • Conduct at least two trend tests and two A / B content tests per month.
  • Other Duties as Assigned

  • Support live events (product drops, promotions, Q&As) with timely posts or quick edits.
  • Organize and maintain the content library, raw footage, and file naming systems.
  • Manage usage rights for creator content and track expiration dates.
  • Assist with contests and giveaways, including rules, entries, and winner communication.
  • Handle light creative refresh requests such as exporting thumbnails or resizing assets.
  • Requirements

  • Proven experience in social media content creation and management across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and Pinterest.
  • Strong skills in short-form video creation (scripting, filming, and editing).
  • Proficiency with Canva, CapCut, or Adobe Premiere for editing and design.
  • Excellent understanding of current social media trends, hashtags, and engagement strategies.
  • Ability to plan and manage a consistent posting schedule.
  • Strong writing skills for captions, hooks, and CTAs.
  • Experience tracking social media analytics and optimizing for growth.
  • Familiarity with influencer or UGC collaborations is a plus.
  • Comfortable working remotely with EST-friendly availability.
