Database and Security Specialist

The Database and Security Specialist at Octal Philippines Inc. plays a critical role in safeguarding the organization’s database systems while ensuring their performance and reliability. This position involves designing, implementing, and managing database security measures and policies to protect sensitive information from unauthorized access, breaches, and vulnerabilities. Additionally, the specialist will optimize database performance, conduct regular security audits, and collaborate with development and IT teams to ensure that security best practices are integrated into the database management lifecycle.

Requirements

1. Must have minimum of five (5) years’ work experience of the same role as Database and Security Specialist or Expert, Administrator, or Manager.
2. Must have Knowledge and experience in DBMS such as Oracle, MSSQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
