Schedule :
- Monday to Friday from 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM Sydney time with 1 hour unpaid break
- Total hours : 40 hours per week or 8 hours per day
- Fixed schedule within the client's business hours

The client is a community run, non-denominational, industrial kitchen where meals are prepared for distribution to needy people across Sydney. Last 2023, they made 250,000 meals that were distributed to disadvantaged Australians.
About the Role :
A nonprofit kitchen raises funds through team-building cooking sessions and group events, helping support its mission to serve the community through food. The organization is seeking a Business Developer & Marketer who can drive awareness, increase bookings, and build meaningful relationships with community organizations, schools, and corporate partners.
The ideal candidate is both creative and strategic, someone who can plan and execute outreach campaigns, identify partnership opportunities, and craft compelling stories that inspire organizations to book sessions.
Responsibilities :
Develop and implement strategies to increase event bookings and brand awareness across social media and community channelsIdentify and engage target audience segments such as corporate teams, schools, and community groupsCreate and execute outreach campaigns through LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and email marketingWrite engaging copy and visuals that promote team-building cooking sessions and their social impactBuild and maintain a sales pipeline, track leads, follow-ups, and client responsesCollaborate with the events and kitchen team to customize proposals for potential clientsMonitor campaign performance and provide regular progress updatesRepresent the organization professionally during meetings, calls, and presentationsRequirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Development, Communications, or related fieldAt least 2 years of experience in business development, marketing, or partnerships, preferably in events, hospitality, or nonprofitsStrong communication and relationship-building skillsProven ability to generate leads and convert prospects through social media or direct outreachExperience using LinkedIn and Instagram for professional networking and campaign managementExcellent copywriting and storytelling skillsOrganized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple outreach efforts simultaneouslyPassion for community engagement and social impact initiativesBenefits
