Senior Project Engineer - Electrical Systems (Marine & Offshore) | Singapore

Are you ready to be at the forefront of sustainable maritime technology? We're looking for a Senior Project Engineer - Electrical Systems to take the technical lead on cutting-edge marine and offshore electrical engineering projects.

In this onsite role based in Singapore, you'll work with a high-performing team delivering advanced electrical systems that are transforming the future of marine propulsion and power distribution. From hybrid vessels to fully electric solutions, your expertise will power the next generation of vessels.

What You'll Do:

• Lead electrical engineering activities across marine & ports projects.
• Provide expert design input and technical oversight - from MV/LV switchgear and protection relays to DC grid systems and energy storage solutions.
• Support system engineering involving generators, transformers, motors, UPS, NERs, harmonic filters, and ESS batteries.
• Collaborate with commissioning and site teams to solve technical challenges and ensure smooth delivery.
• Apply advanced engineering methods, including simulation, prototyping, and design for excellence principles.

What We're Looking For:

• 8-10 years of hands-on experience in electrical systems for marine or offshore projects.
• Deep technical knowledge of MV & LV switchgear, protection relays, and power system analysis tools such as SKM, ETAP, or MATLAB.
• Familiarity with DC grid, hybrid/electric vessels, and energy storage systems (ESS).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and relay programming (e.g., Relion or equivalent tools).
• Understanding of marine classification society power system requirements is a plus.
• Strong communication skills in English and a proactive, solutions-driven mindset.
