The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the full spectrum of Human Resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations, compensation and benefits, training and development, performance management, HR policy implementation, and compliance with labor laws. The role provides strategic HR leadership, ensures effective HR operations, and supports organizational growth through people-focused initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.
- Provide guidance to management on HR matters, workforce planning, and organizational development.
- Lead HR initiatives that improve employee engagement, culture, and retention.
2. Recruitment & Onboarding
Oversee end-to-end recruitment for all levels, ensuring quality and timely hiring.Develop recruitment strategies, job descriptions, and talent sourcing plans.Manage onboarding processes to ensure smooth employee integration.3. Employee Relations & Engagement
Handle employee concerns, grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary actions in a fair and timely manner.Promote positive employee relations through engagement activities, recognition programs, and communication initiatives.Build and maintain strong relationships with employees and department heads.4. Compensation, Benefits & HR Operations
Oversee payroll preparation, employee benefits administration, and government-mandated remittances.Ensure accurate HRIS / records management and maintenance of employee files.Review and improve HR operational processes for efficiency.5. Performance Management
Lead the annual and periodic performance appraisal process.Provide coaching to managers on performance issues and employee development plans.Recommend interventions for performance improvement.6. Training & Development
Assess training needs and create development programs for employees and leaders.Plan and implement learning interventions, workshops, and career development initiatives.Track training effectiveness and employee competency growth.7. Compliance & Policy Management
Ensure compliance with DOLE regulations and labor laws.Update, implement, and communicate HR policies, employee handbook, and company guidelines.Handle government requirements such as audits, reports, and labor compliance documents.8. HR Analytics & Reporting
Prepare HR reports including turnover, hiring metrics, employee headcount, and performance trends.Use HR analytics to guide decision-making and improvement initiatives.Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.5–8 years of experience in HR, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role .Strong background in recruitment, employee relations, HR operations, and compliance.Excellent knowledge of labor laws, DOLE compliance, and HR best practices.Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.Experience in HRIS / HR systems is an advantage.Willing to work onsite in Makati.Benefits
