Position : Senior Accountant - Spanish Bilingual

Work Set-up : Permanent WFH

Work Schedule : Night Shift (10pm - 7am Philippine Time)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage financial reporting, analysis, and compliance for two U.S.-based companies. This role requires strong technical accounting skills, familiarity with U.S. GAAP, and the ability to work with integrated ERP systems. The ideal candidate will be proactive, analytical, and capable of handling complex financial tasks with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare monthly and annual financial statements.

Conduct financial analysis and generate financial ratios across business segments.

Assist in monthly hard-close processes and reconcile accounts to the General Ledger.

Design and maintain financial reporting workpapers tailored to user needs.

Perform and audit journal entries, account analyses, and reconciliations.

Reconcile inter-company accounts and manage collections / payments.

Handle lease accounting under US-GAAP ASC-842 and manage fixed asset depreciation.

Maintain and update financial processes and documentation.

Research accounting standards and ensure proper treatment of accounting topics.

Participate in bilingual meetings with internal and external stakeholders.

Must-Have Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent.

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.

Strong knowledge of US-GAAP, Consolidation Accounting, and FSAB.

Experience with ERP systems such as Epicor, NetSuite, or SAP.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Excellent command of English (written and verbal).

Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

Experience in the consumer products industry.

Familiarity with audit procedures.

Knowledge of fixed assets and lease accounting.

Ability to speak or understand Spanish.

Experience in writing reports and procedure manuals.
