Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Microsoft Dynamics ERP Specialist to support and enhance our existing Dynamics AX 2012 environment. The role involves developing and implementing system enhancements, resolving complex technical issues (3rd level), and ensuring optimal system performance. The specialist will also apply knowledge of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) to align ongoing improvements with evolving business needs.
The ideal candidate has solid technical expertise in AX 2012 and practical experience with D365 F&O. This role suits someone who values quality, works independently, and proactively identifies improvements. Key Responsibilities
Provide 3rd-level support for Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012, addressing user inquiries and resolving technical issues.
Configure and customize AX 2012 to meet business requirements and improve efficiency.
Develop and maintain X++ code, reports, and integrations.
Perform system upgrades, patches, and hotfixes as required.
Create and maintain technical and functional documentation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance business processes.
Monitor system performance and implement optimizations.
Assist with data migration and integration projects.
Evaluate and propose improvements to technical solutions.
Communicate clearly about challenges and potential system issues.
Share best practices and technical expertise with team members.
Apply working knowledge of D365 F&O to support transition and innovation initiatives.
Qualifications
Required :
3+ years of experience working with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012.
Strong knowledge of AX 2012 modules (Sales, Procurement, Finance, Inventory).
Proficiency in X++ programming and the MorphX development environment.
Experience with AX 2012 architecture, data structures, and customization.
Familiarity with SQL Server and database management.
Experience using reporting tools such as SSRS or LaserNET.
Understanding of integration technologies (e.g., AIF, Readsoft).
Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O).
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills.
Ability to communicate effectively and challenge processes constructively.
Critical thinking and attention to detail in system design and implementation.
Preferred :
Microsoft certifications in Dynamics AX and / or D365 F&O.
Project management experience.
Background in environments that value initiative and continuous improvement.
Proven ability to identify inefficiencies and implement solutions.
