The position will be responsible for the provision of high‑quality financial management information and professional advice to Function Heads within MBPS. The incumbent will produce monthly financial statements, support corporate reporting, analyze financial positions, resolve concerns with Function Heads, and assist in the preparation of the annual budget.

We are looking for someone with :
Certified Public Accountant with at least 8 years of relevant work experience in management accounting and related positions, including at least 5 years as a Finance Business Partner or in a Finance Planning and Analysis function.Extensive accounting experience with highly proficient knowledge and up‑to‑date skills.Financial and commercial acumen and leadership when undertaking financial reviews and assessments; applying judgement and providing direction on outcomes.Familiarity with major accounting packages and office IT systems, proficient with Excel.Experience executing complex, multi‑year programs with multiple variables and senior stakeholders, preferably with exposure to global operations and / or financial services.Nice to Haves :

Meet regularly with function heads to assess and provide awareness of their financial performance and offer financial management information, analysis and advice in adherence to budgetary control and finance protocols.Lead the month and year‑end processes within MBPS in line with the organization’s deadlines, ensuring all accruals and pre‑payments are made per financial procedures.Analyze the month‑end financial position, investigate variances, and make appropriate adjustments if necessary in line with internal procedures.Investigate and report on significant budgetary variances, identifying remedial actions that need to be taken.Support the preparation of regular and ad‑hoc financial reporting, financial statements, and forecasting for management review.Work with internal and external audit and ensure follow‑up and implementation of matters arising.Obtain information that provides more detail to support reporting from the general ledger, including payroll and breakdown data.Liaise with and assist other staff within the MBPS Finance Team to ensure that corporate, statutory and performance monitoring requirements are met.Support year‑end financial management and reporting, including assisting with the completion of the annual accounts.Assist in the preparation of future year budgets, taking into
