Title : Broadridge iSeries Analyst (fully work-from-home role) Core Function This Operations Analyst position is to provide great service to our internal and external customers, by monitoring and managing Data Center systems and networks globally, to maximize availability, to alert internal and external customers to outages, escalating service affecting issues as appropriate and to restore service as quickly as possible through own efforts, or through appropriate referral.
Ability to work with Management team, to identify opportunities to help increase profitability and develop specialized services for client. 10+ years’ experience.
Champion process and technology improvements Management and ownership of incident management bridge calls, escalation and restoration of service.
Increase the number of issues resolved at first level through the writing of knowledge articles and ongoing training of the first level teams.
Improve the Mean Time to Recover (MTTR) from service incidents Assist with completion of routine daily operations, monitoring, fault detection and initial troubleshooting for Cintas managed systems and networks.
Oversee that business critical task checklists are followed and that all scheduled events are completed correctly, in a timely and efficient manner.
Issuance of Internal / External Customer notification of serious service affecting problems and management escalation Provide support for execution of scheduled system software and hardware upgrades as directed through the Change Management System.
To lead, document, and train resources to support Disaster Recovery efforts.
Maintain processes and procedures by which services are supported and maintained reviewing and updating where appropriate.
Liaison with counterparts within the company and external customers, on service-related issues and process Carry out Incident Management and escalation process.
Involved in the various levels of ITIL (Incident, Problem, Change and Release Management Provide leadership in Operational Acceptance Testing (OAT) to meet operational needs.
Ensure that services supported by the Data Center comply with customer targets and standards.
Ensure personal knowledge of all supported systems is continually updated Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff, both orally and written Ability to manage own work and multitask to meet tight deadlines without losing sight of priorities Ensure personal awareness of and adherence to established Incident Management and Problem Management procedures Provide hands-on support for the design, implementation, and management of all client data center initiatives.
Creation and maintenance of auditable documents that demonstrate the effective implementation and adherence to data center best practice, industry standards, and SAS70 type II compliance Works with customers and 3rd party service providers on installation of new hardware and replacement of faulty hardware.
Engages building facilities and 3rd parties / vendors for provision of contracted services on day-to-day basis as well as coordinating preventative maintenance schedules.
Delivers data center best practices and industry standards into working processes and procedures Provides Physical Infrastructure Capacity management for space (rack and floor space), power and cooling Asset Management - Responsible for the DC logistics with storage and staging for life cycle of IT infrastructure with process, tools and procedures.
