Network Engineer (T3)

Staff4Me is looking to add a skilled Network Engineer (T3) to our team. This role is essential for maintaining and enhancing our network infrastructure, allowing us to serve our clients efficiently and effectively. As a Network Engineer at the T3 level, you will take on complex networking challenges, provide expert support, and work closely with various teams to implement network solutions that align with our strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, configure, and maintain network equipment to ensure the best performance and security.

- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, providing support at an expert level to ensure strong connectivity.

- Monitor network performance using various tools to proactively address potential issues.

- Collaborate with other IT teams on network-related projects and enhancements.

- Document network configurations, incidents, and procedures for future reference and compliance.

- Participate in capacity planning and recommend network upgrades as needed.

- Stay updated with industry trends and new networking technologies to improve the company’s network infrastructure.

- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior network engineers.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 3-5 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on complex problem-solving.

- Solid understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, etc.) and technologies.

- Experience with configuring and troubleshooting network devices, particularly from Cisco or similar vendors.

- Familiarity with network monitoring tools and best practices.

- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

- Relevant certifications such as CCNA or CCNP are highly desirable.

- Experience with network security and firewall management is a plus.

- Knowledge of cloud-based networking solutions is advantageous.
