Required - Certified Pollution Control Officer
Main Purpose of the role :
Provide expertise, competencies and resources to develop and implement an effective SHE Management System that complies with local regulations and are in accordance to the requirements of ISO 14001 / ISO45001 standards, as well as Corporate SHE Policies and Standards, with the objectives of driving excellence in Safety, Health and Environmental performance in the factory.
Key Responsibilities :
Provide technical guidance & consultation on development and implementation of SHE standards & management systems.
Develop programs, promotions and practices that foster a SHE culture of personal responsibility and ownership.
Train and coach colleagues and contractors on relevant SHE policies and standards and evaluate effectiveness of training
Support factory's continuous excellence journey by active participation and contribution in TPM-related initiatives
Keep abreast of new safety, health and environmental statutory requirements, facilitate actions for compliance and update the company’s SHE legal registers accordingly.
Advise on compliance and implementation of Corporate and Local SHE standards, Codes of Practice, Regulations and other SHE system of work.
Support in the continual review and upgrading of the company SHE policies, system procedures / processes, operations procedures and training, to meet the SHE MS standards / requirements.
Facilitate SHE committees / teams to obtain cross-functional employees involvement in the planning and implementation of SHE MS processes.
Coordinate the internal audits and external audits, to identify gaps for improvement and certification to the expected SHE MS standards (ISO 14001 & ISO 45001).
Record, monitor and tracking of SHE objectives and targets, coordinate with involved department / personnel and provide periodic status report.
Assure proper SHE MS records and information management.
Arrange and prepare for periodic review of the SHE Management System by the Management Committee and respective Plant SHE Committee, and follow-up any issues or recommendations arising from the reviews.
Ensure that all work related activities are in compliance to all relevant quality, SHE and regulatory compliance.
Be knowledgeable with applicable Company Quality Standards, procedures and guidelines. To ensure continuous compliance to GMP in designated areas of responsibilities and to immediately report all observations of GMP non-conformances.
Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Key Experience :
Certified PCO, BOSH Certified
Preferably 3 years of relevant working experience.
Ability to work effectively with team members and colleagues,
Possess high level of initiative, public speaking skills, interpersonal skills, communication skills, analytical skills and training skills.
