Head of Engineering

Description

We are looking for a Head of Engineering who cares deeply about building exceptional products that users love. This role goes beyond managing teams and systems : you will champion engineering practices that result in fast intuitive reliable and delightful user experiences.

You will lead multiple engineering teams ensuring that our technology choices architecture execution and processes all serve one overarching purpose : delivering our roadmap predictably raising the bar on engineering quality and building systems that scale with the business.

What youll do :

• Champion the predictable high-quality delivery of the product and engineering roadmap.
• Partner closely with Product to ensure alignment clarity and a shared obsession for delivering great user experiences
• Raise the bar on engineering quality by driving strong coding standards testing rigor architectural clarity and operational excellence.
• Ensure our systems services and architecture can scale with the companys growth.
• Lead and participate in incident response ensuring issues are quickly identified mitigated and resolved while contributing to post-incident analysis and improvements
• Manage and develop the engineering team ensuring they are performing well aligned and supported
• Drive continuous improvement through data-driven insights metrics retrospectives and a strong culture of accountability
• Foster a culture of ownership excellence and collaboration across teams and functions.
