Job Description
We are seeking a strategic and commercially driven Head of Sales to lead our Proximity and Impulse Channels, including convenience stores, drugstores, petrol stations, and other small‑format retailers. This role will be responsible for shaping channel strategy, managing national distributor partnerships, and driving sustainable growth through data‑led planning and execution.
- Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for proximity and impulse channels, aligned with overall business objectives and market dynamics.
- Lead national distributor relationships, ensuring alignment on joint business plans, execution standards, and growth targets. Build strategic partnerships with key retailer accounts.
- Drive channel profitability through optimized pricing, trade investments, and promotional strategies. Monitor performance and adjust plans based on data and market insights.
- Continuously assess and improve distribution models, coverage, and service levels to maximize reach and efficiency.
The Successful Applicant
- 10+ years of FMCG sales experience, with strong exposure to proximity and impulse channels.
- Proven success in managing national distributors and strategic retailer accounts.
- Strong commercial acumen, analytical skills, and strategic thinking.
- Experience in route‑to‑market transformation and trade investment optimization.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
