IT Head

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Lead the IT infrastructure and operations functions of network engineering, database

administration, systems engineering, and administration in addition to providing the technology

foundation for the company’s systems and applications.

• Implement and manage information technology, computer systems and network infrastructure

• Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating

organization outcomes.

• Build close relationships with clients to understand IT requirements

• Coordinate with management and clients in developing strategic business plans and policies.

• Take a leading role in delivering technical IT-based projects

• Manages IT-based service level requirements of established agreements and performs necessary

actions

• Provide leadership, operational analysis, design, and consultation to internal business units in

areas of business process improvement, systems implementation/improvement, data

management, and reporting.

• Ensuring the maintenance of current projects and technology systems.

• Ensuring reported issues are resolved in a timely manner.

Skills & Experience:

• A Bachelor's Degree in computer science or a related field.

• Proven experience as IT Head or similar role

• Excellent knowledge about various aspects of IT

• Experience in analysis, implementation and evaluation of IT systems and their specifications

• Sound understanding of computer systems (hardware/software), networks etc.

• Excellent management and observation skills

• Strong presence of mind and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to motivate and generate high quality results from the IT team

For Senior Manager/Director level

- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.

- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, 4years of which should be in managerial capacity

- Stakeholder and people management experience

- Demonstrated leadership skills

- Proven project management skills

- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication

- Technical background (Java or OS background like windows, Linux, etc.) is desired.
