What does an IT Security Analyst – Cyber Preparedness?

Sealed Air Shared Service (Philippines) Inc. is seeking a Cyber Resilience and Business Continuity Analyst to join our global IT Security team. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining business continuity and disaster recovery strategies to ensure organizational resilience against cyber threats and operational disruptions. The analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to assess risks, design recovery plans, and conduct resilience exercises.

Why do we need you?

• Cyber Resilience Preparedness: Develop and implement comprehensive cyber resilience strategies, including assistance with business continuity (BC) and disaster recovery (DR) planning. Ensure these plans are regularly reviewed, updated, and tested to maintain organizational readiness.
• Proactive Testing Scheduling: Plan and schedule proactive testing activities, including vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits, to identify and address potential weaknesses in our security posture.
• Incident Simulation Scheduling: Design and conduct regular incident response simulations and tabletop exercises to evaluate the effectiveness of our response strategies and enhance team readiness.
• Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, legal, business leads, and compliance, to ensure alignment of incident response and resilience strategies with organizational goals.
• Continuous Improvement: Monitor and analyze incident response metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance overall response capabilities and resilience.
• Threat Intelligence Integration: Leverage threat intelligence to stay informed about emerging threats and vulnerabilities. Incorporate this intelligence into incident response and preparedness strategies.
• Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the organization's understanding of incident response and cyber resilience practices. Ensure all stakeholders are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to respond effectively to cyber incidents.

What are we looking for in you?

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or a related field
• 8 years of work experience minimum
• 2 to 4 years of specialty experience minimum
• Proven experience in incident response, business continuity, disaster recovery, and cyber resilience.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat landscapes, and incident response frameworks.
• Experience conducting vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to cybersecurity and resilience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH.
• Experience with SIEM tools, incident response platforms, and threat intelligence solutions.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
