Job Description
- Ensure the regular inspections and preventive maintenance on plant machinery to identify and address issues before they escalate.
- Plan timely repairs and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to resolve malfunctions.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure high equipment reliability and minimize unplanned downtime.
- Collaborate with production teams to plan and execute maintenance tasks with minimal operational disruption.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repair logs, and equipment history.
- Conduct root cause analysis on equipment failures and recommend and implement corrective actions.
- Stay current on industry best practices, technologies, and innovations in plant maintenance to improve overall operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with external contractors or vendors for specialized maintenance and repairs.
- Ensure strict compliance with safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and lockout / tagout procedures during all maintenance activities.
- Train and mentor junior maintenance staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering fieldLicense required
Relevant experience in plant or industrial maintenance roles.Certification such as Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) is a plus.Skilled in Maintenance systems and AutoCAD software.Strong grasp of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.Physically fit and able to work in demanding conditions.Willing to work flexible hours, including nights or weekends.Strong organizational, time management, communication, and leadership skills.Feel secure when applying : look for the verified icon and always do your research on a company.
