Location : Fully Remote, Monday – Friday – 40 hours week

Position Overview

We are a globally minded, high-end fashion brand seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead our wholesale strategy, drive international growth, and cultivate long-term relationships with top-tier retail partners. This senior-level role requires deep industry knowledge, a strong network of buyers and wholesale accounts, and a proven ability to expand market presence while preserving brand integrity.

The ideal candidate will bring a track record of success in luxury fashion sales, a strategic mindset, and fluency in the unique dynamics of global wholesale distribution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the global wholesale sales strategy, including market expansion, account acquisition, and revenue growth targets.
  • Manage and nurture relationships with key buyers, department stores, specialty boutiques, and luxury retail partners worldwide.
  • Represent the brand at international trade shows, market weeks, showrooms, and private appointments.
  • Collaborate with internal teams—including design, merchandising, and marketing—to align seasonal collections with market demand and commercial strategy.
  • Provide insights on product feedback, regional trends, and market performance to inform collection development.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with wholesale partners, ensuring alignment with brand standards and operational capabilities.
  • Forecast sales, manage budgets, and monitor KPIs to meet or exceed targets.
  • Identify and secure new opportunities in emerging or underdeveloped markets while maintaining high standards of brand placement.
  • Lead sales presentations, training, and materials for external partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with brand positioning and visual merchandising guidelines across all wholesale accounts.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in sales within the luxury fashion industry, with a focus on global wholesale and B2B relationship management.
  • Strong network of buyers and established contacts across key international markets.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets, growing wholesale revenue, and expanding brand presence in high-end retail environments.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage complex timelines, markets, and product assortments.
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of margin structures, pricing strategies, and global market dynamics.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for key appointments, events, and seasonal markets.
  • Fluency in additional languages is a plus.
