Junior Marketing Analyst

Summary

The company is looking for an outstanding candidate to fill the role of Commercial Analytics Executive(Business Analyst) within our dynamic mobile telecommunications team.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in extracting and analyzing business data while also
supporting some of the ongoing product marketing initiatives. This position demands a unique blend of
analytical prowess, business acumen, and marketing expertise.

Along with developing a thorough understanding of the consumer through data analysis, you will learn
to utilize competitive data to help enable the Marketing Communications and Sales teams to help
optimize activities related to our products.

Responsibilities

• Data Extraction and Analysis:
• Extract, compile, and analyze raw business data to evaluate and assess key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and ensure data accuracy.
• Conduct in-depth analyses of topline numbers, identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies
• Report Generation:
• Assist in the presentation materials for periodic and ad hoc management reporting.
• Communicate complex findings in a clear and concise manner to the team or as part of presentation materials
• Ensure that reports align with business objectives and provide actionable recommendations.
• Support in customer database preparation for targeted marketing activities via internal communication channels (e.g. eDM, SMS etc).
• Product Marketing:
• Monitor and analyze competitors' activities, product offerings, and pricing strategies.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in both data analysis and product marketing
• Propose and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of data analysis.

Qualifications

• Self-Starter with a Get-Things-Done attitude
• Strong analytical skills, comfortable working with datasets to make data-driven decisions
• Ability to analyse and breakdown complex mechanics into simple-to-understand points for internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively present to managers, as well as working well across departments, with people from a wide variety of backgrounds.
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Be a reliable team player and maintain good working relations while simultaneously taking a confident stand to solve problems.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure, adhere to deadlines, deliver high-quality results and to manage multiple priorities.
• An enabler and proactive problem solver who is independent and versatile.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Statistics or a related field
• 1-2 years experience as a Business Analyst; telecommunications or related industry preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
• Solid analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in data analysis tools including Tableau
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and data visualization tools
• Demonstrated experience in executive-level reporting and analysis; product marketing preferred
