Job descriptionAble to read information from commercial documentation required for Customs Clearance. EG, Commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origins. Follow SOP to accurately enter data from Commercial invoice into Cargowise Data entry such as Product codes, currency, values listed on invoice, ensure values adds up correctly, enter goods origins, Incoterms. Record and escalate any errors found in documentation
JOB QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS :
- At least a High School graduate
- At least 1-2 years of relevant work experience.
- Preferably has experience on using CargoWise
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills
- Basic general understanding of clearance practices in Australia
- Ability to interpret commercial documentation required for Customs Clearance, such as : Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin
- Ability to follow SOPs to accurately input data into CargoWise ( e.g., product codes, currency, invoice values, goods origins, Incoterms )
- Skilled in data entry with accuracy and consistency
- Ability to identify and record / escalate errors in documentation
- Basic knowledge of : HS Codes, Incoterms
