JOB SUMMARY
Trainers are expected to engage both new and current designers to plan time and activities to ensure the achievement of SG Interactive’s established goals and objectives within our design agency.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create, manage and deliver new hire design training to ensure success in our Creative division.
- Create, maintain and deliver training documents that continue to support new hire design training.
- Identify opportunities and develop and implement ‘Training Action Plans’.
- Develop monthly, weekly and daily execution plans.
- Discover any opportunities in our Creative department based on metrics, feedback and performance.
- Develop improved training collateral and methodologies to drive improved performance within the Creative team.
- Act as a point of contact for multiple departments to drive performance and support any training initiative.
- Serve as an information resource for, and liaison between, the field and the SG Interactive’s management by communicating issues, opportunities and market intelligence through effective written, electronic and verbal means.
Requirements
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Fluent knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint processes, tools and techniques.
- Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (mainly Illustrator and Photoshop).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, and objection handling skills.
- Prior experience and knowledge of an agency is desirable.
- Ability to work with management and colleagues throughout the business and industry at every level.
- Must have excellent attention to detail.
- Must be an entrepreneurial self-starter, ambitious, accountable, and action-oriented.
- Willing to work on shifting schedule.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or related field with equivalent experience.
- 2-3 years of training experience.
- 5+ years of graphic design experience.
