We are seeking an experienced QA Manager to lead and oversee quality across all product lines—including web applications (React/TypeScript), mobile apps (React Native), and backend APIs (NestJS/Python).

This role owns the full test strategy, enforces quality gates, drives automation, manages QA operations, and serves as the final approval for production releases.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Strategy & Governance

• Develop and maintain test strategy for web, mobile, and API platforms
• Establish quality gates from Dev → Staging → UAT → Production
• Approve all production releases
• Track and report quality metrics (defect trends, coverage, escape rates)
• Lead risk-based test planning and defect triage

Team Leadership

• Manage and mentor QA team members
• Lead daily standups and oversee team capacity
• Conduct performance reviews and support career growth
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams

Test Automation

• Own the automation roadmap and quality standards
• Guide tooling decisions (Playwright, Selenium, Appium, Postman/Newman)
• Ensure automation coverage is integrated into CI/CD pipelines

Cross-Team Coordination

• Align QA workload with sprint planning
• Manage daily Manila ↔ India / US handoffs
• Deliver weekly quality status reports
• Participate in architecture discussions to ensure testability

Tools & Technologies

Required Qualifications

• 5–8 years QA experience, including 2+ years in a management/lead role
• Experience creating test strategies for web, mobile, and API products
• Strong automation background across web, mobile, and API testing
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps (test plans, work items, dashboards)
• Ability to understand React/TypeScript, NestJS, and Python code
• Hands-on experience with mobile testing (iOS & Android)
• Strong API testing skills (REST/GraphQL, performance testing)
• Cloud environment awareness (AWS/Azure)
• CI/CD pipeline understanding
• Excellent English communication for cross-timezone collaboration
