Construction Project Estimator - Luxury Residential

Job Description

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of construction estimating experience (required)
  

• 2+ years of residential construction experience (required)
  

• Experience in flooring, tile, stone, or countertop installation (preferred)
  

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in math, architecture, construction management, or a related field (preferred)
  

• Construction certifications (e.g., CMIT or CCM) are a plus
  

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently, efficiently, and proactively
  

• Strong math skills (algebra, geometry, accurate calculations)
  

• Ability to read plans, measure accurately, and perform quantity take-offs
  

• Experience estimating labor and material costs
  

• Knowledge of tile and stone installation processes
  

• Understanding of residential construction and building codes
  

• Proficiency in Active Takeoff or similar digital measuring software
  

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Google Apps
  

• Fast and accurate typing skills
  

• Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple estimates at once
  

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present clearly and explain proposals
  

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of stone, quartz, solid surface, and cabinet materials
  

• Experience with additional estimating or take-off tools is a plus

Requirements
Duties/ Responsibilities: Manage and oversee the monitoring portals Utilize computerized systems to track and analyze solar systems Provide communications such as emailing or calling contractors for onsite visits as well as being able to RMA any equipment Utilize Google Suite and other software to assist with office tasks Act as solar systems monitor for all company clients and be able to walk them through their portal when they receive PTO Provide and analyze generated reports to recognize monitoring system errors and be able to troubleshoot remotely if possible
