M&A Deal Analyst (Remote)

As an M&A Deal Analyst, you play a critical role in keeping deals moving from LOI to Closing. You sit at the center of execution, coordinating buyers, brokers, lenders, diligence providers, and internal teams to ensure every step is completed accurately and on time. This is not a passive coordination role. You’re responsible for process discipline, follow-through, and speed in a high-volume M&A environment. We’re looking for a detail-driven, reliable analyst to own day-to-day deal execution. You’ll manage documentation, timelines, and stakeholder communication while enforcing SOPs to ensure deals progress smoothly from LOI through Closing. You’ll proactively flag issues, resolve bottlenecks, and help maintain a clean, audit-ready deal pipeline.

• Deals move steadily from LOI to Closing with no missed steps or deadlines
• Stakeholders (buyers, brokers, lenders) receive clear and timely updates
• Deal documentation is accurate, complete, and audit-ready
• Bottlenecks are identified early and resolved quickly
• Execution KPIs (timeline adherence, process compliance) are consistently met

Responsibilities

• Own and manage deal execution from LOI through Closing
• Support LOI-stage activities by collecting, preparing, and reviewing key documents (LOIs, IOIs, financials)
• Coordinate closely with buying partners, brokers, lenders, diligence providers, and internal teams
• Enforce SOPs to maintain accuracy, compliance, and speed across the deal pipeline
• Track deal timelines, follow-ups, and status updates for reporting and stakeholder communication
• Support lender approvals, underwriting, purchase agreements, and closing activities in partnership with the Deal Execution Manager
• Identify risks, gaps, or delays and escalate them quickly
• Maintain organized deal documentation and execution checklists
• Spot process gaps and suggest improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in M&A, investment banking, private equity, lending, or related deal execution roles
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deals simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication for managing stakeholders
• Problem-solving mindset to troubleshoot deal bottlenecks quickly
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, remote environment

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with SBA lending, deal structuring, or financial modeling
• Experience in high-volume deal execution or acquisitions
• Background supporting remote teams in fast-growth companies
• Comfort with tools like Slack, Google Workspace, Notion, or deal trackers
