Position: Conveyancing Paralegal
Salary: PHP70,000/month
Work Schedule: 8:00AM - 2:00PM QLD Time
ROLE OVERVIEW:
The company is looking for a proactive and highly organized Conveyancing Paralegal to become a key pillar of our property law team. In this role, you will take full ownership of conveyancing matters from the initial opening of the file through to final settlement. You will be the primary point of contact for clients and financial institutions, ensuring that every transaction is handled with precision, speed, and a high level of professional care
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- End-to-End File Management: Manage a high volume of conveyancing files (sales and purchases) from start to finish.
- Software Proficiency: Daily use of LEAP for matter management and document production.
- Drafting & Correspondence: Utilizing Dictation software to efficiently draft emails, letters, and legal documents.
- Financial Administration: Managing client invoicing and basic file accounting. While experience in Practice Evolve is "nice to have".
- Settlement & PEXA: Coordinating and executing digital settlements via PEXA, ensuring all figures and documents are balanced and submitted on time.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Acting as the main bridge between clients, brokers, and developers to ensure a seamless settlement process.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1-2 years of experience as a Conveyancing Paralegal, preferably with an experience in the QLD area.
- Proficiency in tools like LEAP, Dictation, and Practice Evolve.
- Full-Time Commitment: Ability to manage a consistent full-time workload and take full ownership of a dedicated file load.
- Financial Administration: Competency in handling basic file accounting, managing settlement figures, and processing client invoices.
- Technical Aptitude: A quick learner who is comfortable adopting new legal software and refining digital workflows as needed.
- Knowledge in PEXA: Must be confident in creating and managing digital workspaces, ensuring all settlements are completed on time and without error.
- QLD Property Law Knowledge: A comprehensive understanding of the QLD conveyancing process, including REIQ contracts and local legislative requirements.
- End-to-End Management: Proven track record of managing high-volume files independently from the opening of the file to post-settlement.
- Attention to Detail: An eagle eye for detail, particularly when reviewing property titles, disclosure statements, and settlement adjustments.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for professional liaison with clients, real estate agents, and financial institutions.
