Business Analyst (Cebu - Onsite)

The Business Analyst will support data visualization, reporting, and analysis needs across the organization. This role is responsible for transforming raw data into meaningful dashboards, reports, and insights that guide operational decision‑making. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Dashboard & Reporting Development

• Convert Excel-based reports into interactive Tableau dashboards. (Low complexity)
• Build new dashboards or structured datasets based on requested criteria, including required data columns and filters. (Low–Medium complexity)
• Develop dashboards incorporating customized fields, Tableau-approved SQL formulas, or other calculated fields. (Medium complexity)
• Create advanced analytical views such as:
• Fleet performance trends
• Time-of-day impact analysis
• Theoretical or scenario-based modeling (e.g., impact of changing support hours)
• Ensure all dashboards and reports reflect accurate data, proper filters, and user‑friendly layouts.

Data Analysis & Problem-Solving

• Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights aligned with stakeholder requests.
• Validate data accuracy and troubleshoot inconsistencies or gaps.
• Dive deep into complex data issues—persists in “digging” until answers or root causes are identified.
• Understand business requirements and how the underlying data supports those needs.

Technical Support & Collaboration

• Work closely with stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure delivered dashboards meet expectations.
• Collaborate with operations, analytics, and IT teams to validate data sources and logic.
• Document dashboard logic, definitions, formulas, and workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong overall Microsoft Office skills
• Proficient Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas, data cleaning)
• Basic SQL scripting knowledge (joins, filtering, basic calculations)
• Strong Tableau or Power BI dashboard creation skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to interpret and understand data in context of business requests
• High mental agility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
