Position Title: Front-end Developer
Work Set-up: Work from Home
Schedule: 8AM to 5PM PHT
Salary: PHP 80,000 - PHP 100,000
Holidays: UK Holidays
Contract: 3 Months Project-based

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Frontend Developer to join our client’s team. This role is focused on building high-quality, user-friendly front-end interfaces for web applications, working closely with an experienced development team delivering projects primarily within the FinTech and InsurTech sectors.

The successful candidate will join a small, dynamic, and highly experienced team with over 20 years of experience in software and web development. The team works with modern technologies, leveraging Microsoft Azure and DevOps practices, and places strong emphasis on delivering tailored, high-quality solutions rather than generic outputs.

The role involves working within an existing enterprise-level system, contributing to the development of new modules and enhancing current functionality, particularly focused on front-end layout, UI implementation, and data-heavy form interfaces.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a Frontend Developer:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a similar discipline is strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Frontend Developer or similar role.
• Strong experience in building responsive, user-friendly web applications.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, React, and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and Tailwind CSS.
• Experience working on data-intensive interfaces such as complex forms or financial-related screens (e.g., profit/loss, reporting dashboards) is a plus.
• Familiarity with Next.js is a plus.
• Ability to build interfaces based on provided designs, prototypes, or screenshots.
• Strong communication skills and good command of English.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure is beneficial but not essential.
• Basic understanding of DevOps practices (e.g., version control, code check-in/out using GitHub/Azure DevOps) is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver clean, maintainable code.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with sprint-based delivery is preferred.



Your Responsibilities as a Frontend Developer would be:

• Develop and maintain responsive, high-quality front-end interfaces using React and TypeScript.
• Translate designs, prototypes, and screenshots into functional user interfaces.
• Work within an existing codebase to build and enhance new modules, ensuring seamless integration into the broader system.
• Develop and optimize data-heavy forms and UI components for usability and performance.
• Collaborate closely with backend developers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless functionality.
• Ensure applications are performant, scalable, and user-friendly.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and existing team standards.
• Participate in code reviews and team collaboration sessions.
• Support the team in delivering time-sensitive projects and reducing workload pressure.
• Contribute to improving front-end processes and overall development efficiency.
• Ability to hit the ground running with minimal onboarding and setup
• Strong team player in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Proactive, fast-moving, and takes ownership of deliverables
