We are looking for a Marketing Coordinator / Virtual Assistant to help bring structure, consistency, and execution to our marketing efforts.
Position Overview
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both planning and executing content and marketing tasks.
You will take ownership of day-to-day marketing coordination, ensuring content is consistently published, campaigns are supported, and the company maintains a strong and professional online presence.
You'll work closely with leadership to turn real business activity (projects, events, wins) into engaging, consistent marketing output, freeing up leadership to focus on relationships and growth.
Key Responsibilities
Content & Social Media Management
- Plan, schedule, and publish content across platforms such as Facebook and LinkedIn
- Maintain and update company profiles to ensure accuracy and professionalism
- Turn real company activity (projects, events, milestones) into engaging posts
- Repurpose content into multiple formats to maximize visibility and consistency
Lead Generation & Campaign Support
- Assist in executing simple marketing campaigns (email, social, basic landing pages)
- Support lead generation efforts through consistent content and outreach support
- Track and report on basic performance metrics (engagement, inquiries, leads)
- Align marketing activities with company priorities in collaboration with leadership
Marketing Coordination & Admin
- Work from a structured marketing plan-not just ad hoc posting
- Manage scheduling tools, content calendars, and task tracking systems
- Create simple graphics and visual content using tools like Canva
- Stay organized and ensure deadlines and posting schedules are consistently met
Experience & Qualifications
- 2-4+ years of experience in social media management, content marketing, or marketing coordination
- Strong working knowledge of tools such as HubSpot, Canva, social media schedulers, and Google Workspace
- Experience supporting lead generation or marketing campaigns is preferred
- Exposure to construction, trades, or B2B service businesses is a plus (not required)
- Excellent written English communication skills

Compensation & Growth
- Starting Rate: $5 - $7/hour (part-time to start)
- Opportunity to increase hours and transition to full-time based on performance
- Potential to grow into a more senior Marketing Coordinator role with greater responsibility
