Job Summary:

CI&T is seeking a Senior Business Analyst (Delivery-Focused / Technical) to bridge the gap between product vision and engineering execution. This role requires a highly collaborative and proactive professional who actively participates in Agile delivery, not just requirements gathering.

The ideal candidate will work closely with global stakeholders, Product Owners, and engineering teams to translate business needs into actionable technical requirements, while actively supporting end-to-end delivery and sprint execution.

This role also embraces a GenAI mindset, leveraging AI tools to improve productivity in documentation, user story creation, and delivery support.

The Role:

You will act as the primary interface between stakeholders and engineering teams, ensuring that requirements are clear, actionable, and aligned with delivery timelines. You will play an active role in Agile ceremonies, sprint tracking, and delivery coordination, ensuring smooth execution across teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivery & Agile Execution:

• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, backlog grooming)
• Support delivery teams by tracking progress and clarifying requirements during sprints
• Ensure alignment between business expectations and engineering execution

Requirements & Technical Translation:

• Translate business needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria
• Define and refine product scope with Product Owners, Tech Leads, and UX Designers
• Identify dependencies, risks, and edge cases

Backlog & Tool Management:

• Manage and prioritize backlog using Jira and Confluence
• Track progress and ensure transparency of delivery status
• Support documentation using collaborative tools such as Miro

Stakeholder Communication:

• Serve as a bridge between business and technical teams
• Manage expectations regarding timelines, risks, and delivery constraints
• Communicate effectively with global stakeholders and cross-functional teams

Technical Capabilities:

• Understanding of frontend behaviors (UI elements, CTAs, visibility rules)
• Familiarity with backend dependencies, APIs, and system integrations
• Ability to define requirements for configuration-driven systems and release timing
• Experience documenting complex validation scenarios and edge cases
• Knowledge of authentication, access control, and system workflows

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Agile software delivery
• Strong hands-on experience with Jira, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and backlog management
• Proven experience supporting delivery execution (not just documentation)
• Experience working with web/mobile applications, APIs, and digital platforms
• Excellent communication skills with experience working in international/global teams
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
