Role Overview
iSupport Worldwide is seeking an experienced Senior Workday Systems Architect - Financial to lead and support the implementation, migration, and long-term optimization of Workday across Finance, HR, and Payroll. This role will be a key systems authority driving the transition from a legacy financial system to Workday, ensuring accurate data migration, strong system architecture, and scalable solutions that support business growth. The ideal candidate has hands-on Workday implementation experience, strong financial systems knowledge, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and support the end-to-end migration to Workday, including planning, execution, testing, and post-go-live support
• Own the configuration, setup, and deployment of Workday Financials, HR, and Payroll modules
• Manage data migration activities including data mapping, cleansing, validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution
• Partner with Finance, HR, Payroll, IT, and external implementation partners to gather, analyze, and document system and business requirements
• Translate business requirements into effective and scalable Workday configurations
• Coordinate and participate in system testing, user acceptance testing, and post-implementation validation
• Review existing finance and HR workflows and identify opportunities for process improvement within Workday
• Document system architecture, workflows, data flows, integrations, and configuration decisions
• Ensure systems align with accounting standards, compliance requirements, and internal control policies
• Provide ongoing Workday support, troubleshooting, and continuous system enhancements
• Support long-term financial systems strategy and future Workday initiatives
Required Qualifications
• Proven experience leading or supporting Workday implementation projects
• Hands-on configuration experience in Workday Financials, HR, and Payroll
• Strong background in financial systems, accounting processes, or finance operations
• Demonstrated experience with data migration, validation, and system reconciliation
• Ability to independently own deliverables and drive projects to completion
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Sage Intacct or similar financial systems
• Background in ERP migration or large-scale digital transformation initiatives
• Experience working in complex, cross-functional environments
• Strong attention to detail and process-oriented mindset
