Join our dynamic team as a Security Officer. This full-time position is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our warehouse operations and personnel. As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our supply chain and contributing to the overall success of our organization.
What you'll be doing
Patrolling and monitoring the facility to detect any suspicious activities or potential security breaches
Responding promptly to emergency situations and liaising with local authorities as needed
Conducting regular security checks and inspections to identify and address any potential risks or vulnerabilities
Maintaining detailed records and documentation related to security incidents and actions taken
Collaborating with the broader security team to implement and enhance security protocols and procedures
Providing a friendly and professional face to our customers, visitors, and employees
What we're looking for
Previous experience in a security or law enforcement role, preferably in a similar industry
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with a diverse range of stakeholders
Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make sound decisions under pressure
Familiarity with security equipment, such as CCTV systems, access control, and alarm systems
Commitment to upholding safety and security procedures and a proactive approach to risk management
Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends, as required
