We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant / Bookkeeper to manage our financial records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in accounting principles, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently.

💼 Role: Accountant / Bookkeeper
What You'll Do:
🎯 Maintain accurate financial records and prepare monthly reports
📊 Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
🧾 Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow
🤝 Assist in budget preparation and forecasting
📈 Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and reporting requirements
🔍 Conduct regular audits to identify discrepancies or areas for improvement
📅 Collaborate with management to develop financial strategies
What We're Looking For:
✅ Minimum 5 years applicable accounting experience required.
✅Experience with multi-state US sales tax compliance.
✅Comfort working across multiple platforms simultaneously.
✅The ability to meet strict recurring deadlines without reminders. Be responsive, resourceful, and responsible.
✅Quickbooks and/or Acumatica experience required.
✅Experience with Shopify is preferred.
✅Experience with TaxJar is a bonus.
✅Experience with Fulfil.io is a bonus.
✅Experience using apps like Asana and Slack is a plus.
✅Must be extremely detail-oriented. Repeat: Extremely detail-oriented. This is critical for success.
✅Very strong organization and communication skills are required.
✅Communicate proactively and constructively. Flag discrepancies and ensure alignment on solutions. Maintain a positive working rapport.
✅Be a team player with a positive attitude at all times.
✅ Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
✅ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
✅ Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
