What the role will entail Provide strategic leadership by establishing and executing the Data Science & ML roadmap aligned with enterprise priorities. Drive advanced analytics delivery through the design, development, and deployment of machine learning models and AI solutions. Build and grow capabilities by leading a high-performing DSML team and promoting best practices in modeling, validation, and monitoring. Foster cross-functional collaboration with Data Product, Engineering, and Architecture teams to embed scalable analytics into enterprise data products. Champion culture & learning enablement by leading Communities of Practice, advancing analytics literacy, and promoting responsible innovation across the organization. Support enterprise initiatives including data governance, regulatory compliance, and innovation acceleration in analytics. What we're looking for Bachelor's Degree in either Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or related quantitative field; Masters or Doctorate highly preferred. Professional credentials such as Certified Analytics Professional (CAP), TensorFlow Developer, Microsoft Azure AI Engineer, or equivalent are an advantage. Minimum 10 years in advanced analytics and machine learning, with at least 5 years leading data science teams and AI/ML projects in banking, fintech, or other regulated industries; proven success in deploying and operationalizing models at scale. Expertise in ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn), programming languages (Python, R, SQL), MLOps practices, cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP), and domain knowledge in banking use cases (credit risk, fraud detection, customer retention). Advanced communication, collaboration, customer focus, and results orientation; expert-level critical thinking, strategic agility, problem-solving, and innovation, with strong ability to sustain high-performing teams and build a data-driven culture.
