Ready to do work that actually excites you?
Our client is looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support our Client Growth Team by owning lead nurturing, relationship development, and long-term pipeline generation.
This is not a high-volume cold-calling role. Instead, this position is ideal for a sales professional who enjoys building credibility, maintaining ongoing conversations, and guiding prospects over long buying cycles within a regional MSP environment.
The SDR will focus on engaging warm leads, event-generated contacts, referrals, and dormant or legacy accounts, ensuring no opportunity is lost due to lack of follow-up.
What You’ll Do
You’ll be the kind of person who:
- Nurture warm leads from events, referrals, marketing campaigns, and existing databases
- Re-engage legacy and dormant prospects through thoughtful, value-driven outreach
- Conduct targeted outbound calls and follow-ups when appropriate (quality over quantity)
- Qualify prospects by understanding their business goals, pain points, and IT maturity
- Maintain consistent touchpoints with target accounts over months or years as needed
- Log all interactions, notes, and lead stages accurately in ConnectWise CRM
- Coordinate closely with the Business Development Manager (BDM) to hand over sales-ready opportunities
- Work collaboratively with Marketing and Sales within weekly EOS cadence meetings
- Track lead progression and support long-term pipeline visibility and reporting
What Success Looks Like
- Strong, well-documented pipeline with clearly nurtured prospects
- Improved follow-up and conversion of event and warm leads
- Prospects consistently recognizing Yorb as a trusted IT partner
- BDM time protected by high-quality, sales-ready handoffs
- Steady contribution toward long-term client growth (not quick wins)
Requirements
What You Bring

- 3+ years of experience in sales development, inside sales, or lead nurturing
- Experience in or strong exposure to the MSP / IT services industry
- Comfort working with long sales cycles and delayed buying decisions
- Strong communication skills with a professional, non-pushy approach
- Ability to understand client challenges and map them to business-focused IT conversations
- High attention to detail and strong CRM discipline
- Experience using ConnectWise, ActiveCampaign, or similar CRM/marketing tools
- An organized, methodical approach to managing multiple leads over time
Ideal Candidate Profile
You are someone who:
- Prefers relationship-building over transactional selling
- Is comfortable nurturing prospects over months or years
- Understands how IT enables business outcomes (without being deeply technical)
- Is patient, consultative, and brand-conscious
- Works well in structured environments with clear processes and accountability
