JOB SUMMARY
As a Business Development Team Lead , you will be involved in leading and mentoring Sales Support Representatives and Data Researchers to improve performance and productivity while ensuring alignment and meeting organizational standards. In this role, you will also oversee the identification of new business opportunities and support Account Executives in their initiatives. Additionally, your role requires maintaining updated documentation of processes, promoting best practices, and identifying opportunities for efficiency and technological enhancement.
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES :
General Tasks
- Follows the daily tasks and be on top of emails, calls, and timelines.
- Follows the structure and processes of daily tools – Google Suite, Microsoft Suite, Slack, and Salesforce.
- Uses Confluence to document training programs, current processes, updates, and best practices related to Business Development backend operations.
- Keeps updated on tasks and processes and delegates to team members.
- Collaborates with senior leadership to create strategies that enhance the overall performance of the Business Development function.
- Supports Business Development and the Account Executives' (US and UK) initiatives.
- Ensures tasks are carried out according to organizational guidelines, standards, and best practices.
- Acts as the key decision-maker for urgent issues related to team responsibilities.
- Assists with projects on an as-needed basis.
- Maintains a clean and functional workstation.
- Acknowledges updates and announcements.
- Approves time off requests.
- Meets with the management team to consistently improve practices between the US and Asia.
Specific Tasks
Oversees the Business Development team and coordinates team schedules.Conducts regular one-on-one meetings and evaluations to provide feedback and address individual / team challenges.Develops training programs for onboarding new team members and ongoing team development.Makes use of LinkedIn Sales Navigator and ZoomInfo to gather contact information for outbound campaigns.Sets up and tracks email campaigns for both the New Logo and the UK Sales team.Responds to customer emails, if necessary.Establishes goals for the team and ensures they hit them.Tracks key performance metrics (KPIs) for both the team and individual team members.Conducts market research to identify and segment target prospects, build and refine lead lists, and set up and personalize outbound campaigns (email, calls, social media)Runs A / B tests to optimize performance, track key campaign metrics, and report on campaign effectiveness.Updates Salesforce records to help the sales process and maintain data integrity.Maintains Business Development and UK Sales Dashboard and creates reports as needed.Requirements
REQUIRED SKILLS / ABILITIES :
Strong oral and written communication skills.Excellent leadership skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.Knowledge of Salesforce is a plus.Willing to work on the graveyard shift, shifting schedule, and weekends.EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE :
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.At least 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role.ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS :
Can work fully onsite.Can work from Monday to Friday, 9pm-6am.Can work in shifting schedules when necessary.Requirements
