Senior Specialist International Communications AEM / Global Team

Responsible for providing external and internal communications strategy for AEM and global team reporting to the VP corporate Affairs and Product communications. This position is based in Manila Philippines

About the Role :

Works to constantly protect and actively position Thomson Reuters in a manner that supports and advances the corporate strategy in the right way.

Build a thought leadership platform that resonates with internal and external stakeholders for senior executives .

Be part of a team of PR and internal communications specialists as they plan and execute communications providing alignment coordination and focus to corporate comms product PR and internal comms communications globally.

Utilize experience to navigate complex scenarios and develop clear positions on business issues both for internal and external stakeholders.

Perform media analysis reporting and monitoring of relevant company competitor and industry coverage.

Train and prepare various executive level spokespeople for townhall media and presentation delivery.

Partner with central function s on AEM issues management t o devise a coordinated approach.

Partner with communications media and operations team to uphold best practices

About You :

Bachelors degree in Mass Communications (Public Relations or Journalism).

Strong experience as Communications specialist

Extensive business knowledge and experience in a B2B or technology field.

Fluent English.

Skills

Ability to build a successful network of sources and thrive in a highly matrixed organization (working with direct and non-direct reports)

Ability to handle sensitive / confidential information.

Experience driving results for technology product launches and thought leadership through use of media campaigns and effective content creation.

Experience in leading internal communications for a large corporate organization across several regions

Experience in financial services information services media and or technology industries an advantage

Innovative ability to propose effective original solutions.

Strong attention to detail ensures accuracy of communications.

Skilled at planning project management time management communicating decision-making presentations and human and organizational relations.
