The Business Development Manager will be primarily focused on driving the new business development process for the commercial business across Philippines.

The expectation is that the Business Development Manager will spend their time on new business acquisitions and working with existing key accounts to keep track of evolving market trends and customer requirements.

This is a direct, customer-facing sales role with responsibility to retain existing revenues and close new revenue opportunities with both new and existing customers.

Primary Position Responsibilities :

Focuses intensely on account acquisition with some emphasis on subsequent account management including ongoing service, support, and sales development to respective accounts.

Liaises with the Territory Account Manager when directed and agreed it is appropriate to transfer account responsibility to the Territory Account Manager.

Coordinates with Sector Manager / District Manager to create and execute business plans to meet sales growth; coordinate / conduct training for up-to-date information about new products and enhancement;

deliver customer presentations and attend meetings or conferences. Performs white spot prospecting and identify potential opportunities for the assigned sectors.

Monitors and reports for both respective accounts and, where needed, aligned Key Accounts by utilizing corresponding tools, such as Sales Pipeline, as developed.

Monitoring and reporting should include win / loss analysis, market intelligence, and other key learning. Works intensely and directly on application expertise and execution delivery, including customer training and merchandising to reinforce value proposition and brand equity.

Continuously focuses on sales growth execution and sales target (quota) achievement through new account research and acquisition planning, leveraging sector expertise, and local intelligence.

Leads account analysis, preliminary proposal, testing, and rollout. Works closely with Marketing Operations for proposal development.

Capabilities and Strengths :

A Bachelor’s Degree Holder

With at least 5 years job related experience

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal). Solid demonstrated presentation skills with ability to convey complex information to a broad audience.

Strong time management skills with the ability to multi-task while being flexible with changing demands.

Self-starter and results-oriented individual with the confidence to take risk and partner with business leaders as required.

High sense of drive and urgency with a positive outlook.

Ability to implement problem solving techniques in order to resolve customer issues and take corrective action.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and utilize data and strategic tools to improve sales, meet goals, identify opportunities, and exceed customer expectations.

Demonstrated sales skills and / or training with ability to utilize consultative sales techniques.

Ability to work independently as well as thrive in a cooperative work environment.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Primary Position Responsibilities

Grow & Develop Commercial Laundry & GMA South Channel business.Grow & Develop Commercial Laundry & GMA South Channel business.

Drive & Implement contractual obligations with distributors and ensure 100% compliance of distributors contractual obligations with Diversey.

Drive & Implement Channel Management program & Commercial Laundry sales & marketing program. Provide Support & Training to TM covering commercial laundry accounts as well as with Distributors DSC.

Ensure basic laundry parameters are followed in all commercial laundry account right from the installations of laundry dispensers.

Ensure service standards are followed within area (95% compliance) to ensure maximum account retention.

Ensure complete submission of all appropriate paperwork and reports (i.e. monthly plan, daily recaps, expense reports, Funnel, etc.)

Maintain relationships with key customers Ensure monthly sales achievement, within expense budget and profitability is achieved.

Ensure all company inventory and assets (equipment, tools, vehicle) are maintained in good working condition.

Lead selling efforts in the Commercial Laundry Sector to grow sales and work with the team in GMA and Luzon.

Assist field team members with management of key customer relationships. Ensures proper implementation of corporate procedures and controls, promote communication and information flow.
