We are rapidly expanding our internal capabilities and are looking for a highly skilled and experienced N8N Automation Expert to take our internal AI agent and workflow automations to the next level. The Role
You will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing complex, next-generation workflows using n8n to enhance our core internal company AI Agent. This agent currently leverages call transcripts as its primary data source to answer questions, understand company processes, and initiate actions. We have established the basic framework, and we now need an expert to drive its advanced development and feature implementation, primarily working with n8n, Slack , and various Large Language Model (LLM) APIs.
Key Responsibilities
- Advanced N8N Workflow Development : Design, build, test, and deploy robust, high-performance, and scalable automated workflows using n8n.
- AI Agent Feature Development : Rapidly implement new, complex features for our internal AI agent, enhancing its capabilities in understanding call transcripts and company data, answering sophisticated queries, and executing intelligent actions.
- Expert Prompt Engineering : Develop and refine advanced prompt engineering techniques to maximize the accuracy, relevance, and utility of LLM outputs within the n8n workflows.
- System Integration : Seamlessly integrate n8n with existing tools, including Slack, various LLM services, and other internal / external APIs.
- Data Handling : Manage and process large volumes of data (specifically call transcripts) efficiently within the workflows to ensure data integrity and agent effectiveness.
- Custom Code Development : Utilize custom JavaScript / TypeScript / Python code within n8n nodes to handle complex logic and integration requirements.
- Problem-Solving & Optimization : Proactively identify bottlenecks, troubleshoot issues, and optimize existing workflows for speed, reliability, and cost efficiency.
Required Skills & Experience
Expert-Level N8N Proficiency : Demonstrated mastery of the n8n platform, including creating custom nodes, managing credentials, utilizing expressions, and designing complex, multi-branching workflows.Extensive LLM Experience : Significant hands-on experience integrating and working with various Large Language Models (e.g., OpenAI, Claude) via APIs.Advanced Prompt Engineering : Proven track record of developing effective and sophisticated prompts for various tasks (e.g., summarization, data extraction, Q&A, action generation).Strong Coding Skills : Proficient in using custom code (JavaScript, Python) within automation tools to solve complex integration and data manipulation challenges.Large Data Handling : Experience designing workflows that efficiently ingest, process, and query large datasets.Exceptional Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking : Ability to dissect complex business problems and translate them into logical, scalable automation solutions.Self-Starter and Independent : Ability to take ownership of projects, work independently, and drive initiatives from concept to deployment.How to Apply
