Job Title : Joinery Estimator

Industry : Fit-outs, refurbishments, joinery (office, hotels, residential)

Employment Type : 40 hours per week (full-time)

Rate : 10-11AUD / hour

The client is situated in Ingleburn and has been operating for over 15 years. They have completed numerous joinery projects from refurbishments to complete fit outs covering all sectors of the industry including Residential, Commercial, Government (Retail and Commercial).

Scale-X Solutions have partnered with the client to seek an initiative-taking and experienced Joinery Estimator with strong Commercial and Architectural skills to join their team.

As an estimator you will be working closely daily with the Managing Director and our Production Manager.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

• Project estimation
• Preparing a Scope of Works for a wide range of projects
• Obtaining competitively priced materials
• Undertake material take offs.
• Preparation and participation in Tender Handover meetings
• Form relationships with existing clients including following up on existing tenders.
• Ensure compliance with Tender requirements.
• Prepare construction budget by studying plans, specification, and schedules, identifying and projecting costs.
• Measurement of critical take-off metrics and preparation of bill of quantities,
• Sending and tracking of tender packages to contractors and suppliers.
• Report on tender risk & opportunities
• Ensure tender submissions are in line with client requirements.
