Our client is an FMCG / Food Beverage company.

Job Purpose :

This position is responsible for providing overall strategic leadership and direction to Supply Chain function to ensure efficient and effective operations of the supply chain operations, and the availability of products and services anchored on the short, medium and long-term plan of the company. It is accountable for the end-to-end supply chain, including sourcing, procuring, planning and distributing of products and services.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

1. Logistics and Supply Planning Strategy

• Provides direction and guidance in creating an effective and robust supply chain strategy.
• Leads in the implementation and ensure the efficiency of Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) at the National Level leading to the fastest and cost-effective distribution of products.
• Ensures that efficient systems and processes are in place for seamless supply planning and execution to achieve company goals and objectives
• Provides direction in developing and implementing supply chain and distribution network models, ensuring the engagement of various stakeholders.
• Cascades strategies and ensures consistent application according to plan.
