PROCUREMENT MANAGER
Work Location : Ortigas, Pasig
Set-Up : Hybrid (2 days onsite, 3 days WFH), Morning Shift
ROLE OVERVIEW
The Procurement Manager is responsible for leading strategic sourcing activities across assigned categories and ensuring that the organization works with the most capable, reliable, and cost-competitive suppliers. The role oversees the entire procurement cyclefrom supplier identification and evaluation to negotiation, contract management, and performance monitoring.
This position works closely with cross-functional partners and external vendors to secure stable supply, drive cost efficiencies, and support business growth through strong supplier partnerships and data-driven decision-making.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Strategic Sourcing & Supply Continuity
- Assess market conditions, supply landscapes, and cost drivers to guide sourcing strategies.
- Identify potential supply risks and implement preventive or corrective actions to maintain uninterrupted supply.
- Ensure suppliers can support both current requirements and long-term expansion plans.
2. Supplier & Partner Management
Manage the full supplier lifecycle including accreditation, onboarding, performance evaluation, and disengagement when necessary.Conduct supplier reviews, capability checks, and site visits to validate long-term viability.Guide suppliers in meeting complex technical, operational, or commercial requirements.3. Cost & Contract Management
Conduct cost breakdown analyses, benchmarking, and commercial reviews to secure competitive pricing.Lead negotiations to optimize value while maintaining quality and reliability.Drive cost improvement initiatives aligned with category and business objectives.4. Internal Customer & Stakeholder Support
Collaborate with multiple business units to understand demand, requirements, and pain points.Manage high-value or complex purchase requests and provide recommended solutions.Offer insights and process enhancements to improve efficiency and service quality.QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance, Business, or related fields.At least five (5) years of strategic, end-to-end procurement experience.Strong background in any of the following preferred categories :coming from Global Services is preferred (HR, Travel, Consulting, Professional Services)Skilled in cost management, supplier management, negotiation, supply risk assessment, and stakeholder management.Procurement or supply chain certifications (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) are an advantage.
