This is a remote position.

Position Title : Purchase Ledger Specialist

Work Set-up : Work From Home

Schedule : 4 : 00 PM – 1 : 00 AM PHT

Salary : PHP 40,000 – PHP 50,000

About the client

Our client comprises two trading entities and a holding company, delivering high-quality healthcare services across the UK South West region. The finance team is developing to play an increasingly strategic role in supporting operational excellence and group-wide financial integrity.

Role Overview

This role is dedicated solely to managing the purchase ledger across the group. The successful candidate will take full ownership of purchase ledger activities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across all three group companies.

JOB DESCRIPTION FOR PURCHASE LEDGER SPECIALIST

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end purchase ledger process, including :
  • Processing purchase orders and supplier invoices
  • Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
  • Preparing and executing approved payment runs
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure timely posting of transactions
  • Handle intercompany recharging and reconciliation between group entities
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve queries
  • Support month-end close and reporting processes related to accounts payable
  • Assist with continuous improvement of purchase ledger processes and controls

Skills & Experience

Essential :

  • Proven experience in purchase ledger / accounts payable
  • Strong understanding of intercompany accounting
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other finance systems
  • Desirable :

  • Experience with Sage Intacct
  • Previous experience in a multi-entity group structure
  • Familiarity with healthcare or service-based industries
  • Personal Attributes

  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
