Job description

Ensures the accuracy of prescriptions by confirming the presence of necessary substances and assessing the appropriateness of the prescriptions under review.

Conducts thorough analyses of the potency, identity, and purity of pharmaceuticals.

Carefully dispenses medications in accordance with the guidance provided by physicians or dentists.

Diligently maintains medical records, including prescriptions, inventory systems, patient profiles, billing information, and records for radioactive materials.

Strategically plans, implements, and oversees procedures for the mixing, packaging, and labeling of pharmaceuticals, in line with legal and policy requirements, to uphold quality, security, and proper disposal practices.

Provides thoughtful recommendations for medications, medical equipment, and healthcare supplies to consumers, tailoring suggestions to their individual needs.

Works collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to enhance the planning, monitoring, assessment, and evaluation of medication quality and effectiveness.

Proactively monitors patient compliance by analyzing prescribing trends and addressing potential issues related to excessive use and harmful interactions.
