Licensed SPED Teacher

Work Arrangement : Onsite (Makati City) with Remote Coordination and Occasional Travel to Singapore

Schedule : Day Shift

Location : Makati or Ortigas

Employment Type : Full time

Salary : Ranged Salary : Php 60,000 to Php 70,000

About the Role :

We are hiring a Licensed Private SPED Teacher with a strong foundation in special education for children. This role requires a dedicated and compassionate educator who can provide personalized, high-quality instruction and behavioral support both at home and in academic settings. The ideal candidate must be flexible, collaborative with international teams, and able to travel when needed.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide one-on-one instruction to children with special needs based on their Individualized Education Plan (IEP).
  • Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the unique learning needs of each child.
  • Work remotely and collaborate closely with Singapore-based SPED teachers for lesson planning, student assessments, and progress reviews.
  • Teach children face-to-face when they are present in Manila (Makati-based instruction).
  • Support holistic development including academic, emotional, and behavioral growth.
  • Maintain detailed student progress reports and documentation.
  • Travel to Singapore as needed for in-person collaboration, student sessions, and follow-up.

Qualifications :

  • Must be a Licensed SPED Teacher or Licensed Psychologist (PRC licensed).
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in special education instruction for children.
  • Strong understanding of various learning disabilities, behavioral challenges, and developmental disorders.
  • Excellent command of English in both written and verbal communication.
  • Must be willing to work onsite in Makati and conduct home-based teaching sessions.
  • Must be open to travel to Singapore for short-term teaching engagements or coordination with co-educators.
  • Tech-savvy and experienced in using virtual platforms for teaching and collaboration.
  • Preferred Skills and Attributes :

  • Empathetic, patient, and creative in delivering SPED instruction.
  • Able to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
  • Culturally aware and comfortable working with international teams.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
