At least 2–3 years of hands‑on experience in air‑conditioning service and maintenance. Strong knowledge of HVAC equipment, electrical connections, and refrigerant handling. Ability to read equipment manuals, drawings, and wiring diagrams. Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities. Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations related to air‑conditioning and refrigeration. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and emergencies as needed.
Job Summary :
Responsible for the inspection, maintenance, repair, and servicing of air-conditioning and refrigeration units. This role ensures that all HVAC systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with company standards and environmental policies.
What you’ll do :
- Perform routine inspections on all HVAC units at least once every two weeks and inform FM of findings.
- Carry out monthly cleaning and performance checks of split-type and packaged units by the end of each month.
- Diagnose and repair HVAC system issues within 24–48 hours of service request issuance.
- Complete 100% of corrective maintenance tasks within the defined repair timeline agreed with the Facilities Manager
- Ensure 100% compliance with safety standards, refrigerant handling protocols, and environmental policies during all maintenance and repair activities.
- Respond to HVAC emergencies within 1-2 hours during on-call shifts.
- Assist with installation of new air-conditioning units as scheduled, and ensure systems are tested and commissioned within 1 working day of setup.
- Tasks are not limited only to plumbing, all maintenance technicians will work on all assigned corrective maintenance tasks.
