Job descriptionBachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Proven experience (2+ years preferred) as a site engineer or similar role. Knowledge of construction methods, health & safety practices, and engineering standards. Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project, and other relevant software. Strong organizational and communication skills.
JOB SUMMARY :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Site Engineer to oversee and manage on-site operations, ensuring that projects are delivered safely, on time, within scope, and to the required quality standards. The Site Engineer will be responsible for technical supervision, day-to-day site activities, and coordination with contractors, clients, and design teams.
Responsibilities :
- Supervise all on-site construction activities and ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and regulations.
- Interpret construction drawings and plans, and ensure accurate execution on site.
- Monitor and report on project progress, quality, and costs.
- Coordinate with architects, designers, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Resolve technical issues and provide solutions during construction.
- Prepare and maintain site reports, schedules, and documentation.
- Ensure health and safety procedures are strictly followed on site.
- Conduct site inspections and testing to ensure work meets specified standards.
- Assist in planning and scheduling of construction work and resource allocation.
- Maintain and organize site records including material usage, labor, and progress.
