Job Role : Sales Representative

Compensation range : $1,000 + Commission

Engagement type : Independent Contractor Agreement

Work Schedule :             This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 6 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Who We Are : At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the Philippines. For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home.

Who The Client Is : The firm is led by a Principal Solicitor and accredited Mediator with 18 years of diverse legal experience. They began their career as a paralegal, working across multiple areas of law before qualifying in Australia and gaining experience with both top-tier national firms and private corporate practices.

Expertise spans Employer Compensation, Immigration, Traffic, Criminal, and Insurance Law, serving a wide range of clients, including international students, businesses, developers, contractors, and service providers. They are very dedicated to providing practical, tailored legal solutions while fostering growth and mentoring within the team.

Role Overview : We are seeking a driven and client-focused Sales Representative to join our team. This role is key in building and nurturing relationships with potential clients, referral partners, and community networks to support the firm’s growth. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a passion for helping others, and the ability to clearly explain our services to a diverse audience.

You will play a vital role in promoting the firm’s legal services, including Employer Compensation, Immigration, Traffic, Criminal, and Insurance Law. Working closely with the Principal Solicitor and legal team, you’ll help connect clients with tailored legal solutions while upholding the firm’s values of integrity, quality service, and community care.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Identify, develop, and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, referral partners, and community organizations.
  • Promote the firm’s services through networking, outreach, and participation in community events and legal education workshops.
  • Manage leads, respond to inquiries, and guide potential clients through the initial consultation process.
  • Collaborate with the legal team to ensure accurate understanding of services and client needs.
  • Track sales activities, generate reports, and work toward set revenue and growth targets.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring clients feel informed and supported at every stage.
  • Stay informed about legal service offerings and industry trends to effectively communicate value to clients.
  • Support marketing initiatives, including podcast promotion, seminars, and online campaigns..

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or client relationship management, preferably in legal, professional services, or related industries.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Experience working with clients in industries such as education, construction, or small businesses.
  • Knowledge of legal processes or services, particularly in Employer Compensation, Immigration, Criminal, or Insurance Law.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Comfort with networking and building community connections.
  • Basic understanding of legal services or willingness to learn.
  • Work Arrangement & Expectations :

    This is a remote role that will be set up via an Employer of Record (EOR) service.
